About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for balance sheets, year-end closing, VAT, and financial reporting, while ensuring that the business complies with Swedish accounting and tax regulations. You will be a central contact person for audits and external parties, while also participating in process development and system support to create effective and secure routines.

Your main responsibilities

• Ongoing accounting and ensuring compliance
• VAT and statutory reporting
• Responsibility for balance sheets and account reconciliations
• Year-end closing and group reporting
• Financial reporting, documentation, and support to management
• Audit and contact with external parties
• Contribute to process development and system improvements
• Cross-functional collaboration with production, logistics, and finance

Your background

• Academic degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in qualified accounting
• Experience from industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage
• Understanding of internal control and audit processes
• Familiar with working in ERP systems (Visma, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent knowledge of Excel

Languages

• Swedish – fluent in spoken and written
• English – fluent in spoken and written
• Additional languages are advantageous, especially German
