On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an IT architect who wants to work with a holistic perspective, security, and long-term architecture in a complex and technologically advanced environment.

In the role of IT Architect, you will work broadly and cross-functionally throughout the chain – from idea and analysis to design, implementation, and management. You will act as a technical sounding board for both solution architects and management teams, contributing to well-founded architectural decisions.

You will be part of an experienced architecture team and collaborate closely with technical specialists, business and requirements analysts, testers, security advisors, and operations organizations. The focus is on on-prem environments, internal development, and solutions with high security requirements.

• Conduct technical investigations and analyses
• Develop architectural drawings, design, and decision-making materials
• Ensure that solutions comply with architectural principles, regulations, and security requirements
• Support solution architects, technicians, and decision-makers
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Participate in and drive architectural issues from early ideas to implemented solutions
• Communicate and present architecture at various levels in the organization

We are looking for someone with experience in system, information, and/or solution architecture who enjoys working in a structured manner based on requirements, regulations, and needs.

You are communicative, unpretentious, and used to collaborating in teams where knowledge sharing is a given. You have an easy time seeing the big picture, comparing different options, and explaining consequences to both technical and non-technical target groups.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in architectural work in security-critical environments
• Good understanding of on-prem solutions and in-house development
• Ability to lead and guide technical teams
• Experience in both infrastructure and software development
• Modeling skills (e.g., architectural descriptions and drawings)
• A strong security mindset and interest in robust solutions

Location: Malmö
This is a fixed-term employment with NXT Interim Malmö AB for the period from February 2026 to February 2027 with a possible extension. We apply collective agreements. The position is subject to security clearance requirements according to current security protection regulations. This means a requirement for an approved background check and, in some cases, specific citizenship requirements.
