We are now looking for an Obsolescence Coordinator for a project at a technically advanced company in Skåne (on-site placement in Lund).

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and gradually lead decision forums related to obsolete components and coordinate actions such as last time buy, qualification of replacement components, or redesign.

• Support the classification of components and follow up on the status of critical items.

• Conduct “where-used” analyses and gather relevant technical information.

• Register and coordinate obsolescence cases.

• Prepare and present summaries and status reports at a high level.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods within Obsolescence Management.

• Support change initiatives and contribute with training and knowledge dissemination to relevant functions.

The position is subject to security protection, which means that a security clearance will be conducted according to applicable regulations.

Requirements Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in Obsolescence Management, purchasing, engineering, or Integrated Logistics Support in organizations with high reliability and long product life cycles.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and administrative skills.

• Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems as well as configuration and change management processes.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
