AI Engineer Wanted for World-Leading Camera Technology Company

Our client, a world-leading player in advanced camera technology, is looking for an AI engineer who wants to shape the future of intelligent organizations. Work at the forefront of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI to solve complex challenges.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will have a hands-on opportunity to tackle complex AI challenges with innovative technology. Your focus will be on exploring, designing, and implementing AI-driven features by integrating state-of-the-art LLMs and agentic architectures into internal tools and processes. You will be part of a dynamic and cross-functional AI team collaborating with R&D, sales, and marketing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI applications and services, exploring agentic flows, and building tools and interfaces to support AI development.

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust AI applications and services, primarily in Python
  • Explore and implement sophisticated agentic flows and architectures
  • Build tools, scripts, and simpler interfaces to support AI development and operations
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and software engineers to build robust data pipelines
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge to enhance the team's collective competence

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering physics, or a related field
  • Has at least 1 year of professional experience in software development with a focus on AI/ML
  • Has excellent knowledge of Python from work/studies/hobby projects
  • Has an understanding of LLM and agent-based systems
  • Has documented experience in developing and integrating REST APIs
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a plus if you have

  • A portfolio showcasing practical Python skills (e.g., personal applications, tools, or interfaces)
  • Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
  • Knowledge in Data Engineering (ETL processes and data pipelines)
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
  • Engagement in the developer community or contributions to open-source projects
