IT Infrastructure Helpdesk Administrator

We are now looking for an IT infrastructure helpdesk administrator for Axis Communications in Lund. If you have a background in second line support and providing service in areas such as networking, Linux, Windows, security, and more, this is the right role for you!

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will have the opportunity to maintain, manage, and develop daily operations. The team you will belong to handles both incidents and requests from all parts of the organization. In addition to managing incidents via ServiceNow, the team also monitors all infrastructure and manages all on-premise server rooms. Another important task is to communicate effectively with both users and team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage incident handling
• Maintain the infrastructure (patching, upgrades, and ongoing improvements)
• Installation and configuration of hardware
• Manage server rooms

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in IT technology, network technology, or similar.
• Has experience working with infrastructure in a larger company.
• Has experience with Linux environments and/or Windows.
• Has experience managing servers and scripts
• Has experience with databases from a management perspective and hosting, such as MySQL.
• Has experience in networking.
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English. The requirement for Swedish is due to many tickets coming in Swedish.

We would like you to have work experience in a similar role previously.

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with virtual environments
