We are now looking, on behalf of our client, for an experienced software developer with a background in C or C++ and an interest in working with or learning Rust. The assignment involves joining an agile development team that works on backend development for configuration software and communication between devices within the client's audio products.

You will be part of a team of developers who work according to agile principles and place great emphasis on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. The client offers good opportunities to get into Rust and provides structured support for new team members.

As a consultant, you will:

• Develop backend functionality in C and Rust, and if necessary, in Python

• Work with technologies such as REST, JSON, MQTT, and open standards

• Participate in the design and implementation of new features together with the team

• Conduct code reviews and contribute in daily stand-ups

• Work on both new development and improvement of existing solutions

• Allocate time for innovation and skill development according to the team's working methods

• Has a relevant academic degree in computer engineering, software development, or equivalent

• Has several years of work experience in development in C, C++, or Rust

• Is technically curious and enjoys sharing knowledge

• Takes responsibility for your deliveries and appreciates being involved in the entire development chain

• Is interested in understanding both the big picture and the details of your work

This is a consulting assignment where you will join as a consultant via Gigstep. Start immediately until April 2027.
