PinMeTo helps large multi-location companies manage their business information across hundreds of online services, by developing and offering a SaaS platform that puts businesses in control of their location data and lets them manage online interactions with their customers. Our SaaS offering consists of a platform of web applications developed internally by our Product department at our headquarter office in Malmö, Sweden.

Our Product department has grown over the past year and we are now looking to add an Engineering Manager. As Engineering Manager you will be the direct manager for the engineers in your team as well as operationally responsible for the output of the team. The engineering manager has a technical background and is expected to be involved in the day-to-day operations, including spending some time working hands-on with the rest of the team to handle the workload.

Responsibilities

• Direct manager for 5-10 software engineers.
• One-on-ones with direct reports.
• Coach and give feedback to improve performance.
• Performance evaluations for salary revision.
• Interviewing and hiring new engineers.
• Ensure that all deliverables are shipped quickly and meet business needs while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Lead the team in day-to-day/week-to-week prioritization.
• Ensure team has effective ways of working.
• Reporting to CTO.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Computer Science related fields or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in software engineering, preferably as a senior software engineer or similar.
• Hands-on experience developing web applications, preferably SaaS-based B2B products.
• Experience with technical leadership and teamwork.
• Passion for coaching people to success.
• Business level in English, both written and verbal.

Practicalities

• This is a full-time role based in Malmö, Sweden.
• We have an office-first working environment, so we assume you are located around the Malmö area.
