We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute teacher in Swedish as a second language at the adult education Alingsås within vocational training in healthcare and social care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of teacher in Swedish as a second language within vocational training in healthcare and social care, you will teach students in Swedish as a second language primarily at the basic level. Your tasks will involve planning, implementing, and documenting teaching based on the students' individual needs and conditions, with the goal that they can acquire knowledge to work as nursing assistants after completing their education.

You will collaborate with other staff to achieve the educational goals and continuously evaluate and analyze the conducted teaching as part of the systematic quality work. Teaching mainly takes place on campus, but distance teaching occurs.

It is important that you feel comfortable using technical aids and digital learning platforms. We use, among other things, G Suite and Digital exam platform as pedagogical support and communication channels with the students.

The position is temporary until 260619.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree with qualifications and experience in teaching Swedish as a second language at the basic level. Since digital tools are part of the teaching, you need to have worked in a similar way before.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with adult learning within municipal adult education or in a similar role. We also see that you have a good insight into the national governing documents and find it easy to create both internal and external contacts.

To succeed in the role, we see that you actively work towards set goals and adapt your working methods to achieve them. You are clear in your communication and ensure that information, messages, and expectations are conveyed. Furthermore, we see that you are self-driven, take responsibility, and structure your work effectively. You are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances and needs.
