About the Role

We are looking for a Database Analyst with industry knowledge of Europe's and Turkey's hotel market and tourist destinations. The role has a qualified responsibility to analyze, structure, and ensure the quality of information about accommodation facilities, destinations, and attractions in our database – as well as ensuring that connections between database data and CRM data are correct, consistent, and traceable.

You will work data-driven and independently with data quality, standardization, data definitions, and content used in digital channels and internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and update information about hotels, resorts, and popular tourist destinations in Turkey.
  • Ensure quality and standardize data (categorization, attributes, taxonomies, data definitions) for a consistent data structure.
  • Record and validate information about hotels' locations, facilities, services, policies, and customer reviews with clear sources.
  • Write and edit informative and attractive texts about destinations and accommodations, tailored for digital publication.
  • Ensure that the relationships between data from accommodation facilities and CRM data are correct in the database (matching, deduplication, and logic rules).
  • Develop and improve routines for data quality, documentation, and ongoing monitoring of data status.
  • Stay updated on tourism trends, new hotel openings, and changes in destination offerings.

Qualifications

You should be able to demonstrate either:

  • A university degree equivalent to at least 180 higher education credits in a relevant field (e.g., tourism, information systems, data/IT, economics, statistics, or similar),

or

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience at a qualified level in the field.

Additionally, the following is required:

  • Good knowledge of Europe's and Turkey's most famous hotels, resorts, and destinations.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working systematically with data quality and large amounts of information.
  • Fluent English in both spoken and written form.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to express yourself professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM systems, master data, data quality, databases, or data governance.
  • Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and preferably SQL.
  • Experience with data modeling, taxonomies, or system integrations (e.g., API/feeds).
