The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinic has been operational since March 1, 2022, and is an important part of Region Örebro County's initiative to strengthen early care. The target group for the clinic is ages 0-18. We have gone through a development phase where we initially faced certain challenges. Through determined work, we now have well-functioning operations in place at our clinics in Örebro, Karlskoga, Lindesberg, and Kumla. Here, dedicated and competent employees who are passionate about children's and youth's mental health are currently working.

As a new employee with us, you will receive a secure onboarding process, together with experienced colleagues, before continuing your work in the team at our clinic in Lindesberg. The aim of the operation is to ensure qualitative, accessible, equitable, and effective care for the county's children and youth with mental health issues.

We offer evidence-based, stepwise interventions for health promotion, prevention, and treatment purposes. Interventions are provided individually and in groups, in physical and digital forms. Internet treatment will be part of the clinic's treatment offerings. As a nurse, you will work closely with our doctors and other staff, and you will be responsible for, for example, medication follow-ups as a complementary measure to our other treatment offerings. You will also have your own therapeutic contacts and will assess and work with lifestyle habits in relation to mental health issues.

You will primarily work at our regional clinic in Lindesberg, but it may also be relevant to work at our other clinics and digitally.

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in pediatrics, district nursing, or psychiatry, or equivalent experience. You need to have knowledge of children's and youth's normal development. It is an advantage if you have competence and/or experience in making your own assessments. Good communication and collaboration skills with both patients, guardians, colleagues, and partners are essential.

We place great importance on personal suitability and experience. You want to work with others to develop and make primary care services accessible to children and youth with mental health issues. Experience working with this target group in primary care or child and adolescent psychiatry is particularly meritorious. An interest in working with lifestyle habits and mental health is a prerequisite. As a person, you are responsible, structured, creative, and easy to collaborate with.
