At Norlandia Äldreomsorg, we are looking for you who are a care assistant/nursing assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during all or parts of the summer at Sirishof elderly care home in Örebro. As a care assistant/nursing assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on their strengths. As a care assistant/nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It’s simply a very exciting job!

Sirishof is a facility with seven departments, three of which are for people with dementia. The facility is centrally located next to Örebro's city park with beautiful walking paths. Good public transport connections with buses. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, health centers, etc.

As a summer substitute with us, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payments, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn from an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of your earned salary for extra shifts/hours directly after completing a shift.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is advantageous if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• It is highly advantageous if you have previous experience in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer substitute

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
