We are looking for you who have an interest in infectious diseases and emergency care, and wish to become part of highly specialized advanced healthcare. The VO Infection unit has an outpatient clinic, a ward, needle exchange, and intake directly from the emergency department. You will encounter patients with severe infectious diseases such as endocarditis, sepsis, meningitis, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. This also means you will meet patients in various challenging situations. We work as a team, which means you will collaborate with several other professional categories. You will become an important part of the team where we help each other.

The Infectious Disease Clinic is in a major phase of development and expansion, and therefore we need you with drive and commitment, and preferably experience! You should have a good ability to build good relationships and collaborate with others. We have short decision-making paths and there are opportunities to influence and develop in your work.

The position involves ward work at the infectious disease ward. We provide highly specialized care that requires special knowledge, as well as basic infectious disease care. We offer competence development, including opportunities for in-depth interest in specific infectious diseases. We offer an individually adapted introduction and training in consultation with the manager and supervisor, tailored to your specific competence and previous experience.

As we are a 24/7 operation, evening and weekend work is included. There is also the possibility to work night shifts.

Licensed nurse. Experience from similar work is meritorious, as is multilingualism. Experience from outpatient work is also meritorious. We place great emphasis on qualities such as teamwork and initiative-taking ability, as well as a sense of responsibility. It is an advantage if you have a holistic view and at the same time consider the patient's individual problems, in order to offer good care.

Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
