Do you want to make a difference in elderly care?

We are looking for dedicated assistant nurses for our wonderful facility. Ågården, located in central Lindesberg, is a specialized housing facility for the elderly consisting of seven wards, two of which focus on dementia care. Approximately 60 assistant nurses/care assistants, along with 2 nurses and occupational therapists, work here.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistant nurse at Ågården, you will provide professional treatment to residents, relatives, and colleagues, and have the ability to build trust. You will perform standard assistant nurse tasks, including personal care and hygiene, administering medication, and carrying out other health and medical interventions as delegated. Your duties also include laundry, cleaning, and assistance with other daily activities.

We work with a contact person model, and you will be responsible for the implementation plans for several residents.

You are secure and stable, enjoy collaborating, and will play a key role in a team consisting of a nurse, occupational therapist, and unit manager. Your daily work includes documentation and handling other digital tasks via computer and mobile phone. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have proof of the right to use the professional title "assistant nurse" from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). You must have proficiency in Swedish to communicate with colleagues, residents, and relatives, as well as to document as required by the facility. We prefer that you have good computer skills. Previous experience in healthcare and social services is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be required prior to employment.

Employment type: Permanent position.
