Welcome to the Specialist Dental Care and the Unit of Periodontology/Implants, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics.

Within the Unit of Periodontology/Implants, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics, approximately 50 employees work in the professional categories of senior dentists, specialist trainee dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. The main workplace for this position is the Periodontology Department. We also regularly offer fixed-term positions in the form of merit-based roles for general dentists and specialized training programs for dentists and dental hygienists. We are a training unit for dentists undergoing specialist training and also conduct research.

Job Responsibilities

Patients are regularly referred to the Periodontology/Implants Department from both public and private general dental care. As a dental nurse, you have a strong sense of service, enjoy taking personal responsibility, and are self-sufficient in your professional role. We offer a varied and developing work environment with a patient clientele consisting mostly of adults, good colleagues, and opportunities for continuous development. The position includes assisting and back-assisting during operations, handling referrals, and contacting patients. Work within the unit's various departments may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained dental nurse. You master the Swedish language and express yourself well in speech and writing. You have documented knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We work with digital record keeping in Frenda, therefore you need to have good computer skills. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as good collaboration and initiative skills. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to handling many different responsibilities.

The Public Dental Service Region Örebro County actively works with preventive dental care and Frisktandvård (Healthy Teeth Care), all to ensure that our county residents get the best possible oral health. We offer dental care at 21 general dental clinics and 8 specialist dental clinics. We have a dental technology laboratory, a public health unit, and a training and research unit closely linked to Örebro University. In total, approximately 600 employees work within the Public Dental Service Region Örebro County.
