About the Operations

The "Close Care" area is responsible for providing care that is common, often recurring, or chronic, and which needs to be geographically close to the patients. In this area lies the hub for the healthcare system's transition towards close care. The idea with close care is to bring care within hospitals, primary health care centres, and municipalities closer together. People with complex needs and chronic illnesses should be met in a better way, and work should be health-promoting and disease-preventive for all county residents.

Region Örebro is one of the largest employers in the county and an important growth engine in the region. We work for people's health, security, and well-being, and for the development of the county. With us, there are exciting and important jobs within, among other things, healthcare, dentistry, public transport, culture, and business development. Together, we create a better life.
