We are looking for you who are interested in working in a multimodal team with the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with long-term non-malignant pain.

Here, we meet patients with chronic pain, many of whom also suffer from depression, anxiety, and have reduced physical and social activity. Our treatment efforts aim to increase patients' ability to manage pain, thereby improving their quality of life and daily functioning, despite the presence of pain. As a new employee, you will receive a secure onboarding process together with experienced colleagues.

2 positions: Licensed Psychologist (permanent position) and PTP (fixed-term position).

We are looking for someone who enjoys switching between individual interventions, group interventions, and close collaboration with other professional categories. You are independent, take initiative, are easy to collaborate with, and adaptable.

We offer stimulating work that is largely carried out in interdisciplinary teams consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, doctors, psychologists, and nurses. The practice is based on a cognitive behavioral therapy perspective, and treatment takes place largely in group formats. We are a practice that continuously works on developing and improving methods, where employee involvement is seen as an important part.

You are a trained psychologist with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Meritorious is interest in and/or experience with pain assessment and pain rehabilitation, mindfulness, and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). You should enjoy working in teams and conducting group therapy in addition to individual patient contacts. The work requires both teamwork skills and independence. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

The Neuro and Rehabilitation Medicine department has a broad practice consisting of outpatient clinics within neurology, neurosurgery, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation medicine, as well as two inpatient wards. We work on developing care chains for our patient groups in close collaboration between different professions and across specialty boundaries, both internally and externally within the region. Education and research take place in collaboration with Örebro University.
