Who am I?

I am a 26-year-old man living in an apartment in the center of Kungsbacka. I am often with one of my assistants who supports me with things I need help with. Sometimes I am also at my parents' house in Fjärås.

My biggest interest is MUSIC; listening, DJing, playing, etc.! I am curious and enjoy learning new things. I have a strong need to make my own decisions, and you who work with me need to be good at listening to me, understanding, and helping me achieve what I want. Often, you need to help explain how to do what I want and what is possible or not.

I feel good when I do things. Outings are fun, like going to town, exercising, or going to Gothenburg. However, I can easily get stuck on the couch, so I need support to start what I want to do.

What do I need help with?

I may need a helping hand with quite a few things; getting up in the morning, going to the bathroom, showering, washing, eating, drinking, etc. I eat both regular food and tube feeding a couple of times a day. The food is a special ketogenic diet that helps me have fewer and smaller epileptic seizures. I need help with cooking, mixing tube food, eating regular food and tube feeding, and drinking. I usually prefer to eat one dish, but it is important that I get a varied diet, so I need help coming up with different dishes and ingredients that I like. Food is part of my medication for epilepsy.

I have many ideas and enjoy doing things, but quite often I may need help getting started with what I want to do or switching from one activity to another.

Who are you?

You who will work with me need to be kind and attentive but also someone I can learn to like. My assistants are some of my most important friends. I usually know what I want, but it may take me some time to explain, so it’s good if you are good at listening and trying to understand. If you listen to me, make an effort to understand what I mean, and if you are kind and clear, I will also be kind and respect you.

You are secure in yourself and enjoy doing things, but you can also relax if I am unwell and need to sleep. You should not be afraid to go out and do things.

Previous experience with epilepsy and tube feeding is a plus but not a requirement.

Scope:

The position is a part-time hourly employment and includes about 6-7 evening shifts (18-09) per month, as well as the possibility to step in as a substitute during illness and vacation. It suits you who already have another job and want to supplement or if you are studying.

as soon as possible.
