We are now looking for several assistants for a client in Varberg who is about to receive his first decision; we are seeking both day and night staff.

We aim for the positions to be as close to full-time as possible, but since there is currently no work group for this man, there are good opportunities to help plan and create your own basic schedule.

As there is neither a decision nor a work group yet, the times in the schedule are not fixed, but what we can see in the proposal from the Social Insurance Agency is that we will need staff who work during the day as well as staff who can also work evenings and possibly weekends.

The client in question is a 66-year-old man. Due to the amputation of both legs and severely reduced function in his arms, he needs assistance with all daily living activities. However, he is fully verbal and can provide explanations and tips during the tasks that may arise during the workday.

Some of your tasks will include helping our client get dressed and stay clean, assisting him with eating, and taking him out for activities such as visiting stores or going for walks. He also has diabetes and needs help taking his medication and monitoring his blood sugar when necessary.

Experience is not the most important factor in this workplace; all tasks that need to be performed can be easily learned with verbal guidance from the client. He prefers female assistants, but he may also consider male assistants, so do not hesitate to apply even if you are not a woman.

A decision is expected to be finalized by March 1, and we see it as highly advantageous if we can achieve a smooth transition from home care services to personal assistance.
