About the position:

The client we are looking for assistants for is a 12-year-old boy who loves adventures both big and small.

He enjoys crafting a cardboard go-kart, building a fort, playing with Lego/cars, and going on adventures both by car and larger adventures by plane.

However, he also has a great need for clarity, structure, and routines as he has an intellectual disability, epilepsy, and autism.

We are urgently looking for assistants for the following positions:

- Temporary substitutes

- Longer maternity leave substitutes approx. 80%

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

- Is a woman with experience working with children, preferably with children with disabilities.

- Speaks Swedish fluently.

- Must have a driver's license.

- Enjoys adventures such as cycling and swimming but also thinks it's okay to take it easy when my energy runs low.

- Is tolerant of cats and not afraid of them as my cat is my best friend.

What does it mean to work as a personal assistant?

Being a personal assistant is about helping another person in their daily life. The tasks vary depending on the client's needs and may include:

✔ Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing

✔ Cooking and household chores

✔ Transfers and guidance

✔ Social activities and leisure tasks

✔ Communication and other support to facilitate daily life

The most important thing is your personal ability to create a safe and positive environment for the person you assist. The job requires attentiveness, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to the client's needs and wishes.
