We are looking for a secure, engaged, and positive personal assistant for a girl in Getinge. She lives with her family and needs support in her daily life to lead an active, safe, and meaningful life. The position is suitable for you who have a genuine interest in working with people, who have patience, warmth, and a natural ability to create security in interactions with others.

About the Assignment

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in both daily routines and various activities. You will help her with hygiene, dressing, and light cooking, and be there as a support in structure, communication, and social interaction.

She enjoys being outdoors and appreciates activities such as walks, play, and outdoor experiences in different environments. She also likes creative and playful activities like crafting, putting on makeup, and painting nails, but at the same time needs calmness and clarity in her daily life. To thrive in this role, you need to be able to adapt to her daily condition and combine calmness with playful energy.

Sometimes situations can be challenging, which makes it important that you are secure in yourself, clear in your approach, and have a low-arousal and solution-focused working method. You need to be able to build trust, collaborate with the family, and at the same time take your own initiatives when needed. Experience working with children or individuals with special needs and low-arousal approaches is advantageous, but the most important thing is your personality and attitude.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Complementary Communication) and visual support.

About the Employment

The position involves work in the home and surrounding area, sometimes together with the family and sometimes more independently. The work is both meaningful and developing, where you have the opportunity to make a real difference in another person's life every day. Working hours occur during all waking hours.

We are looking for someone who wants to work on a fixed schedule. There may also be opportunities for extra hours during illness and vacation.
