Digitalization IT and MT is Region Skåne's central function to enable the future of healthcare through digital transformation. We work closely with the business, technology areas, and external partners to create sustainable, innovative, and effective solutions that support the entire organization.

You will join the Portfolio Management Unit consisting of seven digitalization strategists. We work closely with the business to help steer, prioritize, and coordinate Region Skåne's digital initiatives, with a clear focus on business development, value creation, and service orientation.

Together with domain architects and service designers, the unit will support the business in shaping cohesive business services that meet both strategic and operational needs. As an enterprise architect, you play a central role in coordinating architectural work across domains and ensuring coherence, coordination, and long-term direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an enterprise architect, you will have a strategic key role in shaping Region Skåne's digital future. You will work to ensure that the IT architecture supports the organization's goals and is sustainable in the long term. The role involves working broadly across the organization and in-depth within architecture, from business processes and information models to application landscapes and technical infrastructure.

You need to work in harmony with the Region's strategies, policies, and other goal documents and formulate both tasks and your own objectives based on these.

Tasks:

• Develop and manage Region Skåne's overall architecture.
• Lead work on target architectures, architectural principles, and guidelines.
• Assess and review initiatives from a holistic perspective.
• Collaborate with and coordinate domain architects, solution architects, and business architects.
• Participate in architecture councils and strategic forums.
• Support projects and programs with architectural support including in the role of program architect.
• Initiate and conduct architectural assessments for major change initiatives.
• Contribute to governance of architectural practices and coordinate architectural work across organizational boundaries.
• Monitor trends in digitalization and contribute to innovation work in areas such as AI, automation, and data-driven development.
• Work across the four dimensions of ITIL4: information & technology, organization & people, value streams & processes, and partners & suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you have:

• A degree in IT or a related field.
• Experience working as an enterprise architect in a larger organization, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Several years of experience in IT architecture work.
• Solid experience of the entire change journey from analysis and strategy development to implementation.
• The ability to communicate and visualize complex relationships for different target groups.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with frameworks such as TOGAF, IASA, or equivalent.
• Experience with SAFe or other agile frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, security architecture, and information management.
• A good understanding of the public sector, healthcare, and relevant laws (LOU, PDL, OSL).

Digitalization IT and MT provides support and service to all operations in Region Skåne and works strategically and developmentally to promote digitalization and digital transformation. The administration contributes to the introduction of a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while existing IT/MT services are operated, managed, and delivered professionally and cost-effectively according to the expectations of the operations. Digitalization IT and MT is also responsible for maintaining the operational reliability of medical technology products and providing technical expertise in medically related matters.

Digitalization IT and MT encompasses five operational areas with approximately 550 employees. The administration is represented at all hospital areas in Skåne with its headquarters in Lund.
