We are now looking for summer substitutes for our wonderful team at Ljungvägen's autism residence. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a temporary part-time role based on the needs of the operation.

About Ljungvägen's LSS residence Ljungvägen is an autism residence that started in 2017. The house is beautifully located near the Hemus outdoor area, just outside the city center. We are close to a swimming pool, an ice hockey arena, exercise and ski trails, as well as beautiful green areas.

The house is bright and all apartments are on the ground floor. The residence has six apartments with common areas for social interaction and a nice outdoor area with large planting boxes, and at the back, we can gather on the shared patio.

About the role As a support staff member, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, a driver's license (B), good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our clients' best interests in mind in everything you do.
