We now have the opportunity to initiate development work with new methods in the transition to new legislation, and we also need to replace a colleague during their first time as a new parent. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team with two social workers and are now looking for those who want to take on challenges together with us!

The elderly unit consists of social workers who work with the elderly in regular housing and special housing, as well as some discharge planners. The unit also includes housing coordinators, fee administrators, assistant unit managers, and a unit manager. In total, we are 24 people who develop our operations and care for our shared work environment based on active employee participation and developing leadership. We invest a lot in health in the city and have our own wellness facility and wellness hour. We also offer the possibility of remote work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary task of the social worker is to work with authority exercise, to investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. In addition, it is a varied job in collaboration with both external and internal partners. We investigate according to IBIC in the operational system Lifecare. We have regular case discussions in groups and apply mentorship for new employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education that we consider equivalent. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience in authority exercise and knowledge of the IBIC investigation method.

We prefer that you have good communication skills and the ability to express yourself pedagogically in both speech and writing. You have a strong service orientation and work process-oriented, both independently and in collaboration with others. You are a development-oriented person with the ability to think outside the box and have a flexible and solution-oriented approach. Your strong networking ability helps you when you need to gather information to move forward and achieve good results in your work.

The city applies individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. The positions are temporary for about one year.
