Personal Assistant for a Happy Boy with CP

Do you want to work as a personal assistant to a social and cheerful boy who is almost 4 years old with CP and breathing difficulties?

We are currently looking for assistants for day/evening including weekends. The position is approximately 24 hours/week on average with a rotating schedule over three weeks (see at the bottom of the ad).

What does the job include?

• Breathing monitoring and assistance with various aids to facilitate breathing
• Tube feeding and medication via gastrostomy
• Motor assistance with various training as well as just to be active and live
• Communication through communication boards
• Playing and helping the boy live a life like a child

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is responsible
• Can take initiative to come up with fun activities for the boy (based on his wishes)
• Can follow the routines in his care
• Can adapt to working in a family environment

Requirements

• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish
• Non-smoker
• Can work with a dog in the home
• Can lift a child (the boy weighs just under 20kg)

Available Positions

The user lives in Kallhäll, and your shifts start and end at home.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
