Client and Workplace Technician

Do you want to work hands-on with the modern digital workplace while having significant responsibility? We are looking for a self-driven Client and Workplace Technician who wants to take a comprehensive approach to the client platform and create real value for both users and customers.

About the role

You will be responsible for the implementation, management, and further development of the client platform in line with Nordlo's standards. The role is operational and independent, with support from the cluster manager for major decisions and architectural issues.

In your daily work, this means overall responsibility for the client environment, where you work with the entire client lifecycle from deployment and upgrades to decommissioning. You will closely collaborate with the service desk and proactively work to identify and eliminate recurring problems that affect user experience. The role also involves advanced troubleshooting at the 2nd/3rd line level, documentation of solutions and customer-specific adaptations, as well as active dialogue with customers, for example through recurring client forums.

You are often involved in security and connectivity solutions such as Always On VPN, as well as in change initiatives like OS upgrades, migrations, and transition projects. If interested, there is also an opportunity to share knowledge and train colleagues in Intune, SCCM, and Windows overall.

Your responsibilities

• Operational responsibility for Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MEMCM
• Application packaging, deployment, Autopilot, and policy management
• Ensure patching of operating systems and applications
• Convert on-prem and public computers to Intune-managed clients
• Implement and follow up on security requirements (BitLocker, Defender, compliance)

We are looking for someone who has

Experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MEMCM, as well as very good competence in Windows 10/11 in a corporate environment. You have experience with PowerShell and scripting and a good understanding of Entra ID as well as modern client and security management. You are used to working independently and enjoy driving tasks and solutions to completion without the need for a dedicated project manager.
