About the job as an operational purchaser:

As an operational purchaser at Jefferson Wells and our client SAAB in Linköping, you will have a central role in the purchasing organization, focusing on indirect materials and services. You will work in the business system Hansa and be responsible for managing and following up on purchase orders in close collaboration with internal colleagues and external suppliers. The role involves both ongoing operational purchasing tasks and administrative tasks related to contracts, onboarding of suppliers, and updating system information.

In your daily work, you will have close dialogue with strategic purchasers regarding the choice of ordering method and invoicing method. You will also provide support to internal buyers through Procurement Support where questions and cases are handled. The role suits you who thrive in a communicative role, are structured, and enjoy ensuring that data, prices, and terms are correctly updated.

Common tasks include:

• Manage purchase orders for indirect materials and services.
• Work with contract administration.
• Ensure correct system information related to goods, services, prices, and delivery terms.
• Support in reporting and simpler data analysis.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with experience in operational purchasing who enjoys a role that includes administration, communication, and follow-up. You are structured, meticulous, and comfortable working in systems and processes. You enjoy collaborating but can also drive your own work forward and take responsibility for timely and high-quality deliveries.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in operational purchasing.
• Relevant post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Experience working in business systems and good system proficiency.
• Meticulous, driven, and structured work approach.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
