We are currently seeking an Export Forwarder for our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, for a position at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development opportunities. Initially, this is a consulting assignment for approximately 12 months through Unik Resurs, with a very good chance of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means that the assignment may be filled before the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an export forwarder, you will be dedicated to specific export flows where you are responsible for transport-related issues. External contacts with suppliers, transport agents, customer representatives, etc., occur very frequently and are a natural part of the job. The work also involves internal contacts with project managers, material coordinators, purchasers, and internal logistics.

Create transport documents
Transport procurement
Transport booking
Supplier contacts
Delivery monitoring
Issue requests for shipments
Issue export/customs documents
Control and coding of freight and forwarding invoices
Transport claims
Develop and digitize our transport and customs processes

About the Department

The forwarding department handles all assignments related to transport and customs for Finspång's new production and service operations. Within the department, there are several different roles in project, export, and import forwarding.

Your Profile

• You have a relevant university degree and/or several years of qualified experience in logistics, import/export.
• Experience with international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing is highly meritorious.
• You can communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills in Spanish, German, or Russian are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is also a plus.
• As a person, you are driven by having a varied job in a fast-paced forwarding business. You have a good ability to structure your work even in pressured situations.
• You are flexible and comfortable organizing and prioritizing effectively.
• You have a natural understanding of customer relationships and collaboration with partners. In stressful situations, you remain calm, show stability, and can handle sudden changes. You are a responsive team player who is straightforward and clear in your communication.
• You are interested in sustainability issues in transport and make this a part of your daily work.
• As a person, you are proactive and can work independently. You take responsibility for your tasks and show a strong interest in being involved in developing the business.
• You are cost-conscious but also service-oriented, which allows you to find the right service at the right price.
