Export Forwarder for International Transport in Finspång

For this position, you will be employed by Poolia and work as a consultant. The planned start is in March, and the assignment runs for one year, with good opportunities for extension.

About the Position

As an Export Forwarder, you will be a central part of the international logistics operations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on export flows from start to finish, focusing on ensuring efficient and cost-effective transport. The role involves a broad network where you will communicate daily with transport agents, suppliers, and customer representatives, while closely collaborating with internal functions such as project management, purchasing, and material coordination.

You will work with complex transport solutions and handle documentation for customs and international regulations. The position also includes continuously optimizing processes, contributing to improvement work, and ensuring that sustainability aspects are integrated into transport solutions. The work is varied and requires both analytical skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

• Supplier contacts
• Delivery monitoring
• Issue requests for shipments
• Issue export/customs documents
• Control and coding of freight and forwarding invoices
• Transport claims
• Develop and digitize our transport and customs processes

Who Are You?

• Relevant university education or several years of experience in logistics or import/export.
• Previous experience in international transport and customs issues; experience in contract writing is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Additional languages (Spanish, German, Russian) are a plus.
• Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and preferably SAP.
• Structured, flexible, and stress-resistant with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Service-oriented and cost-conscious with an interest in sustainability issues in transport.
• Independent, responsible, and communicative team player.
