Within the business area of Nexer Engineering, we collaborate with industry-leading companies and specialize in product development and manufacturing. Our primary focus is on assignments with clients in the manufacturing and defense industries, where we cover areas of expertise ranging from system development and embedded systems to production technology, electronics, mechanics – and of course, advanced structural analysis.

About the role

As a calculation engineer in structural analysis, you play a key role in ensuring the strength and functionality of future products. You will work on developing FEM models and performing detailed analyses of components, often within composite materials, and contribute to our clients achieving their technical goals. The assignments are complex and can encompass the entire development cycle – from concept to verification.

You are employed by Nexer as a consultant and have your home office with us in Gothenburg, where the door is always open for you regardless of the assignment's location.

We look forward to connecting with you who have:

  • At least two years of experience as a calculation engineer in the industry

  • Experience in strength calculations, preferably within composite materials

  • Knowledge in FEM analysis of static and dynamic load cases

  • Experience with software such as HyperWorks, MSC Nastran, ANSA, META, Matlab, Python, and MathCad

  • Post-secondary education in technical physics, mechanical engineering, or similar

  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
