Are you ready to shape the future of technology with us at Nexer Engineering? We are growing in Gothenburg and are looking for passionate problem solvers who want to work with electronics, hardware-related development, and embedded systems. Here you will have the chance to solve exciting technical challenges, develop in an innovative environment, and create solutions that make a difference.

About Nexer Engineering in Gothenburg

We collaborate with industry-leading companies and specialize in product development. Our main focus is on assignments within, for example, the defense and automotive industries, where we cover areas of expertise from embedded systems to electronics development.

With us, you will have great opportunities to develop as an engineer and to work at the forefront of technology where you will constantly learn new things. Common to all assignments is that they are long-term, qualified, and challenging, while you are guaranteed to have fun at work! We always start from you as a person and your interests.

About the role

As a consulting engineer with us, you will work on complex and varied assignments where embedded systems are in focus. The assignments may involve development for FPGAs, programming of control logic, calibration functions, or work with high-speed links. You may also work with testing, troubleshooting, and integration of electronic systems in a lab environment.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in software, hardware, and/or electronics – but above all, a genuine interest in VHDL and embedded systems. You are curious, communicative, and enjoy working closely with both colleagues and clients. A technical challenge does not scare you; rather the opposite – that is when you thrive the most!

We would like you to have:

  • Very good knowledge of VHDL – at least three years of professional experience
  • Good understanding of FPGA architecture
  • University degree in electronics, engineering physics, embedded systems, or similar
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Swedish citizenship is required for security-classified assignments

Meritorious:

  • Programming in languages such as C/C++, Matlab/Simulink

Application

If you recognize yourself in the description above and think that Nexer sounds like the right place for you, we really look forward to reading your application! Please note that we do not accept applications via email. However, if you have any questions, feel free to contact Victoria Olsson at: [email protected]
