Stenungsund, the good community with a vision for the future

Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,000 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality has a well-developed cultural and association life as well as good conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. Wholeness, openness, participation, and transparency are the municipality's guiding principles.

Nösnäsgymnasiet is a school with a wide range of educational offerings, competent teachers, and a strong commitment to each student's development. We offer a mix of university preparatory programs, vocational and introductory programs, as well as apprenticeship training and adapted upper secondary school.

Here, you will encounter a school in positive development with attractive educational programs and an increasing student base. In recent years, we have received several awards and recognitions – among others, we have been named the School of the Year by UF due to our successful work with Young Entrepreneurship. The school is located in a beautiful environment with lush greenery and a view of Hakefjorden - an environment that inspires learning and creativity. In the central parts of the school, there are an office, café, and library. Next to the school is Stenungsund Arena, which is the municipality's largest sports facility with, among other things, an ice rink and swimming pool.

At Nösnäsgymnasiet, we think outside the box. We open doors to the outside world and draw inspiration from beyond. But we also look inward and try to find what drives each individual. Together, we find the way forward.
