Your Responsibilities

At Saab, you will work with quality from a holistic perspective, in close collaboration with production, purchasing, development, and suppliers. Roles and responsibilities may vary, but what is common is that you will play an important role in ensuring, following up, and developing quality in complex technical flows.

Depending on your background and experience, you may work with:

• Management of quality deviations and defect cases

• Quality assurance of products, materials, and processes

• Root cause analyses, risk analyses, and improvement work

• Development and improvement of quality processes and controls

• Collaboration with production and/or suppliers

• Audits, complaints, and follow-up of quality performance

The work takes place in cross-functional teams and involves both operational and developmental elements. Some roles involve close contact with suppliers and travel, while others focus more on production and internal processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and has a genuine interest in quality. You are communicative and have the ability to clearly and convincingly explain quality requirements and risks to various stakeholders. You thrive on responsibility, take initiative, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You have an unpretentious attitude and a desire to develop.

To thrive in the role, we see that you have:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent experience

• Training and/or experience in quality work, preferably within industry or technology

• Knowledge of quality tools, methods, and standards (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, 6σ, RCA, MSA, FMEA).

Experience with Lean, audits, improvement work, or working with suppliers is a plus.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for specific citizenship.
