Do you want to make a real difference?
Here, you contribute to creating safety for people and communities. What you do matters.
Your Role
With us, you get an exciting opportunity to work across the entire development chain from technology and product studies to finished products and product care. As a mechanical designer, you will be responsible for creating mechanical systems within missile products, and you will become an important part of our projects in the department. You will work closely with other functions, such as purchasing, production, testing, and our suppliers. Together, you will collaborate to find the best solutions and ensure that we deliver products of the highest quality.
Our team is characterized by a humble and inclusive work environment where we help each other grow - both professionally and personally. We know that different perspectives strengthen our results and contribute to a better workplace where everyone thrives and develops.
Depending on your experience, there is an opportunity to take on greater responsibility, for example as a team leader or as Design Authority (DA) responsible for a mechanical subsystem and its design.
We use modern 3D CAD tools such as Catia and 3DExperience, and exciting research and development projects are also conducted within the section where you can contribute and grow.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a civil or bachelor's degree in engineering and a few years of experience in design work. To succeed in the role, you have an interest in mechanically advanced constructions where you need to use the latest technology to meet product requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of a 3D tool.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
For you to thrive in the role, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with others while feeling comfortable taking significant personal responsibility and driving your tasks independently. We also value a strong interest in learning new things, as we work closely together and like to share knowledge to develop as a team.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
Do you want to be part of an engaged team where your skills and ideas really make a difference? Then we would love to hear from you!
What You Will Be Part Of
Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
