Job Responsibilities

KTH's unit for Digital Learning is the place where research and proven experience regarding digital media and learning meet.

We develop knowledge and design (and manage) digital platforms, online courses, and videos to support education and learning. The unit conducts research and development as well as training and supervision.

We are looking for a pedagogical developer who will lead and/or participate in development and research projects focused on digital learning, and be part of an agile team with central assignments. You will be welcomed into an agile team but will also participate in or lead projects close to the team. As digital learning has become a rapidly growing and prioritized area at KTH, many different projects are being carried out where we contribute or lead.

As a pedagogical developer, you will participate in the requirements specification of KTH's digital educational environments from a pedagogical perspective. Furthermore, you will develop teaching materials about KTH's digital educational environments and also educate and supervise KTH's teachers on how these digital environments can be used in teaching.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Completed degree at the undergraduate or graduate level (university education) in the subject of employment or equivalent competence.
• Experience working with e-learning/educational support, primarily supervision.
• Documented knowledge of teaching and learning, preferably within higher education.
• Ability to express oneself well in spoken and written Swedish and English, as required in daily work.

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to carry out projects, both independently and in groups, and who enjoys working in a flexible and dynamic work environment. To fit into the group, you need to have good social skills, including the ability to encourage collaboration in projects. Furthermore, you are communicative in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a very good ability to quickly learn new things.

Meritorious

• Degree in engineering or teacher education.
• Experience in development and/or research projects focused on e-learning.
• Skills as a project manager.
• Experience working with change management.
• Experience in developing digital modules and courses, preferably within STEM subjects.
• Experience in developing, managing, and delivering IT services.
• Experience working with digital accessibility and AI in education.
• Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality.

About the Employment
