Tallbohovskolan has 400 students in grades F-6. The schools are multicultural, and many families are bilingual or multilingual. The organization also includes a municipal resource school and adapted primary school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teaching assistant to join our school team! Do you want to make a difference in students' everyday lives? We are looking for someone who is passionate about student development and learning and who wants to work closely with students and teachers to create a safe, inspiring, and educational school environment.

About the Position

As a teaching assistant with us, you will be an important part of the school's educational activities. You will work alongside teachers to promote students' learning and social development both during school hours and in after-school care. You may work in central groups or regular activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the teacher in the classroom and contributing to increased goal achievement for the students.
• Accompanying during transitions, both within and between grades, to ensure continuity and safety for the students.
• Participating in lunchroom situations and recess activities, where you actively contribute to a good and inclusive school environment.
• Planning and leading structured activities in after-school care based on students' needs and interests.
• Collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and student health services to create the best possible conditions for each student.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you? We are looking for someone who:

• Has training as a teaching assistant or equivalent experience working with children in a school environment.
• Is responsible, empathetic, and attentive to children's various needs.
• Has the ability to create safety and structure, both individually and in groups.
• Enjoys working independently and in close collaboration with others.
• Has a positive and solution-focused approach and sees opportunities where others see obstacles.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in need of special support or with language development methods.
