Are you an engaged Home Economics teacher looking to work in a safe and family-oriented school environment? We are seeking a Home Economics teacher for our school in Vårberg. The position involves teaching Home Economics for grades 6–9 and is approximately 50%.
About the School
We are a K–9 primary school with about 200 students, located in Vårberg, Skärholmen. Here, we work closely with students and guardians to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Our school is characterized by small scale, engagement, and community, where every student is seen and has the opportunity to develop at their own pace.
About the Position
- Subject: Home Economics
- Grades: 6–9
- Extent: Approx. 50%
- Start: By agreement
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the teaching of Home Economics, and will be part of the school's working team for the upper grades.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher in Home Economics for primary school (grades 6–9)
- Has good subject knowledge and didactic competence
- Is passionate about language and creating lively and inspiring teaching
- Has structure, good communication, and a positive attitude
- Ideally has experience teaching in multicultural school environments
