Are you a lawyer ready to make a difference? Our operations are expanding, and we are therefore looking for more litigation lawyers for the Department of National Dental Care, International Care, and Labor Market Support, who can think strategically and creatively.
The Legal Support area is responsible for the department's review operations, litigation in court, and the legal support close to case handling. Together, this area will serve as a force and engine in the legal quality work of the department. The Process and Law unit is part of the NA Legal Support area and consists of ten departmental lawyers and three litigation lawyers, all based in Malmö. The unit is responsible for litigation in court and legal support to the department.
Litigation, negotiation, and development
As a litigation lawyer in the Department of National Dental Care, International Care, and Labor Market Support, you will represent Försäkringskassan in social insurance cases in administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal. In some cases, the litigation lawyer may also be involved in appeals to the Supreme Administrative Court.
The work primarily involves representing Försäkringskassan in court proceedings. This includes written handling such as preparing and drafting appeals, responses, and other documents required for court proceedings. It also involves participating in oral hearings in administrative courts and presenting Försäkringskassan's position. You will work together with the department's lawyers and other experts to advance cases. The role also includes quality development work, where you actively work to improve our working methods and participate in legal quality follow-ups. The litigation lawyer also works with feedback to various operational areas within Försäkringskassan. If necessary, the litigation lawyer may also need to support departmental lawyers in their work, such as with referral and preparation work.
In the role of litigation lawyer, you will handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a strong sense of security to work with us.

We are looking for someone who
- has a law degree
- is qualified as a notary or has equivalent competence, such as other experience working in court or in the appeals process at an authority
- has good collaboration skills and can act on their own initiative
- is proactive and takes responsibility for results of high quality
- has a systematic and careful working method
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- communicates clearly, concisely, and structured.
It is advantageous if you
- have current experience with court proceedings in social insurance cases
- have good knowledge of administrative procedural law and social insurance law, preferably within the relevant department's insurance area
- have good knowledge of public access and confidentiality as well as other administrative law.
