Do you want to take responsibility for accounting in a socially important organization where finance and operations are interconnected? Øresundsbro Konsortiet is now looking for an accounting economist for Business Support, focusing on year-end closing, accounting, and reporting for ØresundPay.

Øresundsbro Konsortiet is a Swedish-Danish company owned by the Swedish and Danish states, responsible for the operation of the Øresund Bridge. Approximately 150 employees work here in a friendly and professional environment with significant responsibility and close collaboration.

About the job
In the role of accounting economist, you will spend about 50 percent on qualified accounting and year-end closing work and 50 percent on support in other finance-related tasks within Business Support. You will have clear responsibility for the accounting of ØresundPay, which is a separate business area with its own year-end closing and pro forma annual report.
The work involves close collaboration with colleagues in both Sweden and Denmark, and a large part of the accounting is related to IFRS. The role is broad, operational, and development-oriented, with the opportunity to influence working methods and processes in an organization facing change.

Your tasks include:

• Ongoing accounting for ØresundPay
• Booking of incoming and outgoing payments
• Monthly and annual closing as well as pro forma annual report including documentation for auditors
• Internal invoicing and internal charging
• Work with accounts payable and purchasing processes
• Support in Visma Proceedo and other financial systems

This is a direct recruitment, which means that we at StudentConsulting handle the entire recruitment process, but you will be directly employed by Øresundsbron. The position is full-time with a start as soon as possible. The workplace is located in Lernacken, Malmö.

We are looking for someone who

• Has post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience
• Has about 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or year-end closing work
• Is confident in reconciliations, income statements, and balance sheets
• Is used to working in business systems and has good IT understanding
• Speaks a Scandinavian language fluently and has a good understanding of Danish

Experience with IFRS, Visma Proceedo, or working in changing organizations is an advantage.
