About Us

Region Blekinge's Ordering Department, which is part of the Economy Area, is responsible for managing region-funded dental care.

The Ordering Department is tasked with planning, developing, guiding, supporting, following up, and analyzing content for the region-funded dental care services for children and adults. Functions within the Ordering Department include Health Choice, which is the region's freedom of choice system, and Dental Care. Within the Ordering Department, we are 5 employees, but the unit includes more people from different parts of the region with various functions, such as economists and administrative support.

Here, the region's special dental care support and general dental care for ages 3–19 are managed, performed by both public dental care and private dental care.

About the Job

The role of coordinator means you have overall responsibility for coordinating the work around ordered dental care. Ordered dental care consists of the national dental care support, general dental care for ages 3–19, emergency agreements, and regional compensation for specialist dental care. The entire Ordering Department is under development, and the role may include additional areas of care in the future. Part of your role will be to contribute your expertise in the work of developing the department together with your colleagues.

You will be the contract manager and contact person for providers with agreements and drive development in the area. The issues you handle are of a mixed nature and may involve IT or finance as well as contracts or questions regarding regulations. It also includes collaboration with people within the object structure that encompasses our IT systems for dental care.

You will be responsible for ensuring that providers:

Have contracts in place
Receive their compensation
Are followed up

The processes for this work will need to be developed in dialogue with your colleagues. Monitoring the external environment in the area is an important part, and you will represent the region in national networks for collaboration.

The position includes, when necessary, preparing materials for political decisions and being involved in implementation work. It also includes being able to present to management and politics.

You will work with a team of competencies consisting of two assessment dentists, a dental care administrator, and other competencies working towards ordered care via internal service purchases. The position is permanent and located in Karlskrona, with a probationary period possibly being applicable.

About You

We are looking for someone who is structured, has a sense of service and great integrity, has good communication skills, and has extensive experience in collaboration, taking responsibility, and driving development. You take initiative and show great commitment to the organization. You are proficient in the Office suite and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. You are used to holding meetings and are not afraid to engage in difficult discussions. You should be able to see the organization from a holistic perspective, and previous experience in similar work is meritorious. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

You should have a relevant university degree in economics, political science, social science, or law. Experience working in the public sector, as well as experience in project work or other coordination functions, procurement, and finance, is meritorious.

The area also includes the business department and the ordering department for healthcare and dental care.
