We are looking for a Embedded Test Engineer to strengthen our verification and validation efforts across our embedded platform. You will play a key role in ensuring high quality, reliability, and robustness of our hardware and software systems by owning and evolving our test infrastructure, automation, and devices fleet management.

You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams in an agile environment and be responsible for both hands-on testing and strategic development of our test frameworks and processes.

• Execute and continuously improve the existing test lineup

• Design, implement, maintain, and structure test cases, including versioning, storage, and lifecycle management

• Integrate test cases into the automation toolchain

• Script and schedule automated test executions (e.g., nightly builds, long-running tests, regression campaigns)

• Analyze, document, and report test results

• Drive the gradual evolution of the test automation framework

• Own and operate the test lab environment, including:

  • Creation, modification, and maintenance of test stands

  • Supporting multiple hardware, firmware, and software configurations

  • Updating and improving lab setups as products evolve

• Work closely with development teams to improve testability, quality, and release confidence

• Participate in test strategy, test planning, and quality improvement initiatives

• 7+ years of experience in end-to-end testing within embedded systems

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Microcontrollers

  • Embedded Linux

  • Communication protocols (e.g., Modbus or similar)

• Experience in test automation, using:

  • Python, Robot Framework, or similar tools

• Solid understanding of hardware-near development and troubleshooting

• Experience with IoT / cloud-connected systems, such as:

  • Gateways, MQTT, or similar technologies

• Programming skills in:

  • C / C++ and/or Rust

• Experience with:

  • CI/CD pipelines

  • Version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Strong understanding of and experience working in Agile development environments

• Proven experience in:

  • Designing test strategies

  • Writing and executing test plans and test cases

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or system-level test setups

• Experience with production test systems or manufacturing test

• Experience in safety-critical or high-reliability systems

• A technically challenging role working close to real hardware and real products

• Strong influence over test architecture, tools, and processes

• Collaboration with experienced embedded, hardware, and cloud engineers

• A long-term role in building scalable, maintainable test infrastructure
