• Learning Arena, offers student-centered school placements in a central special education group.
• School Social Team, offers investigation and support in complex student cases.
• School Team, follows up on the schooling of socially placed children and youth.
• Primary School Team, provides operational and strategic support for grades F–9 at several levels.
• Reception Unit, maps and follows up on the learning of newly arrived students.

Together, these parts work to ensure that all students in Enköping have the conditions to complete their education and develop positively.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your mission

As a teacher with us, you primarily teach Swedish for grades 7-9 and other subjects as needed. You adapt your teaching to the individual needs of the students and actively work to strengthen their motivation and school attendance.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in Swedish
• If necessary, planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in other subjects.
• Adapting your teaching based on different students' and groups' needs.
• Working with students who have NPF and adapting your approach, structure, and teaching accordingly
• Creating a safe, appealing, accessible, and inclusive learning environment
• Using both pedagogical and social strategies to strengthen students' well-being and learning
• Collaborating with colleagues from different professions, the student's home school, and guardians
• Actively contributing to the development of the organization in a dynamic and solution-focused environment

Here, the teacher's role is broad; you work both pedagogically and relationally to create pathways back to functioning schooling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with qualifications in Swedish for grades 7-9
• Can teach in more subjects (art and physical education are advantageous)
• Has experience working with students with NPF
• Preferably has experience from small teaching groups or similar contexts
• Sees the value in experiential and interdisciplinary work.
• Has knowledge and preferably experience of accessible learning environments.
• Is relationship-building, attentive, and comfortable in meetings with students
• Is flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable trying new methods.
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team.
• Is stable and secure.
