After 25 years of dedicated service, one of our nursing assistants is retiring. Therefore, we are looking for someone with the right skills, experience, commitment, and approach to become an important part of our team and contribute to ensuring that Örkelljunga Health Center continues to function at its best.

With us, you will be part of a team of over 20 employees who together are responsible for providing good care to our approximately 6000 registered patients.

At the health center, there are specialists in general medicine as well as ST and AT doctors. We also have nurses and district nurse clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, smoking cessation, and blood pressure. Our medical secretaries support the operations on-site.

Adjacent to the health center, there is also a Family Center with a child health clinic. We also have a well-functioning physiotherapy clinic with experienced physiotherapists and a therapist with a CBT focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with further education to specialist nursing assistant, who is interested in complementing our workgroup. You will be part of a stable and experienced team that always puts the patient and patient safety first.

Your main tasks will consist of laboratory work with sample collection as well as other usual nursing assistant tasks that are an important part of our operations. You will also participate in examinations and assist our doctors with, among other things, minor surgeries, wound treatments, EKGs, audiograms, and similar tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure. It is also a requirement to have good language skills in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you have studied according to the previous program structure, it is an advantage to have a focus on emergency care/healthcare. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have education as a specialist nursing assistant.

We are looking for someone with a pronounced service mindset who always puts the patient's needs first. You have a genuine interest in people and good communication skills. Since we are a smaller workplace, we also value that you are flexible, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with different professions.

You need to present proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023.
