Home Care Coordinators for Kalkbrottet
The Kalkbrottet unit belongs to the ordinary housing department and consists of nine sections, distributed over two resource areas. We are now looking for two new home care coordinators who want to contribute to a well-functioning and safe home care service, where you will have a central role in planning and coordinating the efforts.

Job Responsibilities
As a home care coordinator, you have an overall view of the operations and are responsible for the daily coordination and scheduling of the home care services at the Kalkbrottet unit. You work closely with the section manager, employees in the section, and in the resource area to ensure a well-functioning operation.
Your role includes responsibility for absence planning and short-term staffing, which you mainly work with in the Lifecare planning system. You receive orders from the authority and handle ongoing administrative and operational tasks.
You have daily contact with care recipients, relatives, and internal and external partners. As a coordinator, you create schedules and maintain a professional and respectful approach towards employees. A good reception is central to the role, and you are confident in daily dialogues with employees, where collaboration and good communication are crucial for success.
The work is scheduled Monday to Friday, but weekend shifts may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Approved high school education
- Experience in a similar administrative or coordinating role within healthcare
- Familiarity with using a computer as a tool and a willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems
- Experience working with the Lifecare planning system
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have:
- High school education with a focus on health and care
- Previous experience working with the Medvind and Vikariebanken systems
- Experience in municipal operations
The role of home care coordinator requires you to have a clear holistic view and prioritize the best interests of the operation in both decisions and actions, while also understanding your own role and its significance. You have good collaboration skills and work attentively and constructively with others, even when balancing different needs. You are service-oriented, calm, and attentive in your approach, with a desire to help and find solutions. Furthermore, you are stable and secure when the pace varies and conditions change, and you can prioritize correctly. You work structured and independently by planning, organizing, and driving your work forward with responsibility and commitment.
