Hässleholm Hospital has three areas of operation (VO), VO Medicine, VO Rehabilitation, and VO Orthopedics. VO Medicine includes the medical outpatient clinic, medical ward, neurology and rehabilitation ward (NORAH), and acute medical ward. We also have a close collaboration with the emergency department, which is part of the Management Close Care and Health.

The blood dialysis units in Kristianstad and Hässleholm are part of the area of operation medicine and are organizationally part of Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK). At the unit, we have the capacity to treat approximately 30 hemodialysis patients. The majority of treatments are performed in outpatient care, but we also have inpatients treated with us. Within the nephrology unit, which the blood dialysis unit belongs to, we conduct home dialysis outpatient care, peritoneal dialysis, and outpatient care for kidney patients. Our section also includes the kidney, gastroenterology, and intestinal ward in Kristianstad.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a nurse to join us at the dialysis outpatient clinic located in Hässleholm. This position involves working specifically with hemodialysis. Although you will be based in Hässleholm, there will also be work at the clinic in Kristianstad. Depending on interest and need, there are also opportunities to work in the kidney, gastroenterology, and intestinal ward at CSK.

As a nurse with us, you will independently provide care and nursing to dialysis patients. The work is performed in teams together with other professional categories, and you will work extensively with medical technology. With us, you will be offered a stimulating environment where opportunities for further development are a given. To ensure a safe start to your work with us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction of about 10 weeks. As you become comfortable in your new role, it may be relevant to become part of the work with dialysis patients at home as part of your development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are also a requirement for the role. It is advantageous if you have previous experience from dialysis operations.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a strong commitment to the operation and wants to contribute to our continued development. You have the ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute your tasks and are flexible in your approach. Teamwork is important to us, and we place great emphasis on you contributing to good collaboration and fitting well into the group.
