The Medication Unit operates at Helsingborg Hospital and Ängelholm Hospital in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient safety and more effective medication use. The unit's supply pharmacists contribute important medication knowledge and support nurses in medication management, while clinical pharmacists provide medication expertise and support to doctors for optimized medication treatment. Continuous change and improvement work is ongoing in the medication field. We are located in two places, Helsingborg and Ängelholm, with a total of forty-three employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a supply pharmacist who wants to work in an engaged team in Helsingborg during a temporary employment.

In the role of supply pharmacist, you will be responsible for medication management on the ward and will be a valued and central part of the patient care team. Your tasks will be varied and mainly consist of ordering medications, managing the medication storage, refilling medication carts, and preparing medications for patients ready for discharge. You may also be involved in other assignments such as quality, safety, and training work within the medication area. In your role, you will collaborate with many different professional groups and units.

The position is primarily located at Helsingborg Hospital. Assignments may be relevant throughout the entire operational area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. Previous work experience in pharmacy operations is also required. It is advantageous if you have experience working in a hospital pharmacy, providing medication services to departments and clinics, and/or working in healthcare.

We appreciate candidates who have a good demeanor and the ability to independently plan, organize, and structure their work. You are responsible, collaborative, and interested in operational development. Continuous improvement work is ongoing for increased medication safety, which requires curiosity and a flexible approach to work. It is an advantage if you have experience working alongside other professionals and are stimulated by multidisciplinary working methods. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
