The Laröd Healthcare Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 7000 registered patients and more than 280 registered children at the affiliated child health center (BVC). We operate a branch in the local area where we offer both urgent and booked appointments with doctors and nurses, as well as a clinic focused on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions. We have about 30 dedicated employees from various professional categories working in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. We offer child health services (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

We are very proud to be an academic healthcare center (AVC), which means research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF), building bridges between the academic world and primary care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a new nursing colleague with a specialization in diabetes and a genuine interest in primary care.

As a diabetes nurse with us, you will meet various types of diabetes patients and work with, for example, adult patients with diabetes, newly diagnosed diabetics, and patients with prediabetes. You will also conduct annual check-ups and registrations in the national diabetes register (NDR).

For us, it is important that care is characterized by a professional approach, high medical quality, and individualized nursing. We work to ensure the quality of care for our diabetes patients, which means that you as a diabetes nurse will be engaged in following and improving quality indicators that have been established as common goals for the healthcare center. In addition to your work with diabetes patients, you will also contribute to the healthcare center's other activities, such as telephone advice and triage, consultations, and collaboration with doctors and other colleagues.

We value that you keep updated on the latest in diabetes care and see yourself as an important knowledge resource for the entire team. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have further education as a diabetes nurse. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and/or experience working in the PMO journal system.
