The Hospital in Ystad is an emergency hospital with a wide range of specialized care. In addition to patient beds, the hospital has a maternity ward and clinics in several specialties. The ENT clinic is part of the Surgical, Orthopedic, ENT, Intensive, and Perioperative Care area.

At the clinic, we receive patients for diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation. We have a day surgery unit, access to an operating room, and inpatient beds for children and adults. Within the unit, there is also a speech therapy clinic focused on swallowing and voice issues, an audiology clinic, and a sleep and CPAP clinic.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our dedicated team and contribute with your experience, knowledge, and commitment. Here you will work with common tasks for a nurse at an ENT clinic. This includes telephone advice and appointment booking as well as assisting during acute and planned doctor visits. In addition to the mentioned tasks, you may also assist with outpatient surgeries and perform wound dressings. There are a total of seven nurses at the clinic, four of whom are focused on our sleep and CPAP clinic and three on the ENT clinic.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We prefer that you have several years of experience as a nurse. If you also have experience in ENT or other outpatient care, that is an advantage. Furthermore, we would like you to have good knowledge of healthcare administrative systems such as Melior, 1177, and PASiS.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, attentive, and confident in your professional role. For us, it is particularly important to have good collaboration and communication skills and the willingness to drive the operation forward in a positive spirit. In addition, you have a good ability to work independently and have a good attitude towards our patients. Personal suitability is of great importance.
