JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Occupational therapist for ordinary housing rehabilitation and support in daily life
Lomma municipality aims to provide good and close care in ordinary housing, where rehabilitation is an important part of strengthening individual independence and quality of life. We are now looking for an occupational therapist who wants to work with rehabilitative efforts at home and help develop the future of municipal rehabilitation.
With us, you will work closely with individuals in their daily environment and contribute to creating safe, sustainable, and individually tailored solutions.
About the assignment in ordinary housing
As an occupational therapist in ordinary housing, you will work with both preventive, rehabilitative, and compensatory measures. You will meet individuals with varying needs and diagnoses and collaborate closely with home care, physiotherapists, assistance officers, and other professionals to ensure the right support at the right time.
Your assignment
- Assess activity ability and need for rehabilitative measures in ordinary housing
- Plan and implement individually tailored rehabilitation measures in the patient’s home environment
- Prescribe, trial, and follow up on assistive devices
- Actively work with rehabilitation plans and documentation in LifeCare for clear follow-up
- Collaborate with assistance officers, operational planners, and home care to ensure good quality in the services
- Guide and support colleagues and care staff in rehabilitative working methods
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist who enjoys independent work in close collaboration with others. You are structured, responsible, and have a rehabilitative perspective where the individual's participation and resources are central. You also have the ability to guide and share your expertise with colleagues and care staff.
