At Forenede Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or care assistant and want to work during all or part of the summer at our cozy nursing home Postiljonen.

As a nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will provide good care, service, and support to our residents.

Postiljonen is a care home with 24 places, of which 12 are adapted for those with dementia. Postiljonen is operated on behalf of Vellinge Municipality and is one of the municipality's profile homes with a focus on outdoor environment and has beautiful nearby nature. We work according to our values and the Live Life concept that supports a meaningful everyday life. The residence is located in central Höllviken, close to a bus stop and has nearby parking.

In the position as a nursing assistant or care assistant with us, you will perform care and support based on the customer's wishes, and in accordance with applicable assistance decisions with a strong focus on quality. This is done, for example, by performing personal hygiene, assisting with meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and social interaction. Social interaction can include conversations, games, bike rides, music activities, or similar. You will also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff in the form of medication administration and training.

As a summer substitute with us, you have good chances of getting new temporary positions or permanent employment.

Job Description

We are currently looking for several colleagues for full-time/part-time temporary positions as summer substitutes with employment level and start date to be agreed upon.

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• Experience in elderly care and dementia care is an advantage

• Care about your fellow human beings

• Be good at building relationships

• Have a strong commitment and be service-oriented

Before we offer employment, you must present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require proof of a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
