Are you interested in working as a substitute within Tomelilla Municipality but can't find an ad that meets your wishes? Through this ad, we accept spontaneous applications from those who want to work as substitutes in elderly care, LSS, preschool, school, swimming, or kitchen. Through the selection questions in the ad, you can specify the areas you are interested in working in.

The ad for spontaneous applications will be active for three months. As needs arise within each operation, we will process incoming applications.

Elderly Care: In elderly care, you can wish to work in both special housing and home care. Norrevång and Brinkehem, the municipality's special housing, are located in Skåne Tranås and Brösarp. Home Care West, Brösarp home care, and the Night Patrol work in ordinary housing throughout the municipality.

LSS: Within LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons), there are several target groups and workplaces throughout the municipality. Here, there is an opportunity to work as a substitute in group homes, daily activities, or short-term stays.

Preschool: In Tomelilla Municipality, there are six preschools and an OB preschool that operates during evenings, nights, and weekends. The preschools are located in central Tomelilla, Onslunda, Smedstorp, and Brösarp.

School: If you are interested in working within grades F-6 or 7-9, you have the opportunity to work at one of our schools located in Tomelilla, Onslunda, Smedstorp, or Brösarp. In central Tomelilla is the municipality's only secondary school, Kastanjeskolan.

Kitchen: As a cook, you can work in one of our 11 kitchens. We have kitchens in preschool, school, and elderly care, and there is an opportunity to work both in central Tomelilla and in the small villages around.

Swimming: Österlenbadet is located in central Tomelilla and is open during spring, autumn, and winter. During the summer season, Österlenbadet closes in conjunction with the opening of the outdoor swimming areas in Tomelilla, Smedstorp, and Eljaröd.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute with us, you may need to step in and substitute within elderly care, LSS, preschool, school, kitchen, or swimming at short notice. We offer you high flexibility that allows for a combination of work and studies (or other activities). This is done by you making yourself available in our staffing system when you want and can work, provided it aligns with the needs that the operations have for substitutes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Are you confident, responsible, flexible, and have a good approach in your work? Then you are the one we are looking for!

We welcome both those with previous experience and those who are ready for new challenges. We offer a tailored introduction and an opportunity to learn and grow into your tasks.

We place great value on you being responsible, engaged, and having good communication skills. Since you will have daily contact with users, students, colleagues, visitors, relatives, and managers, the assignment places high demands on good cooperation and that you can master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Depending on which operation you are interested in working in, we see it as meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant, support assistant, cook, preschool teacher, teacher, or have training in swimming supervision/rescue/CPR. If you have other equivalent education or work experience related to the desired work area, we see this as meritorious.

To work in elderly care and LSS, you must pass the medication test, both written and oral, as well as the practical part for medication delegation in Tomelilla Municipality.
